Solid-wood violins built by hand in Romania, shaped and set up for a clear, balanced voice with genuine response and projection.
Our violins are built entirely by hand using solid tonewoods: a solid spruce top for clarity and response, with a solid maple back, ribs and neck for warmth and strength. We do not use plywood or laminated wood.
Each violin is constructed using traditional methods, then carefully set up — bridge, soundpost, nut, pegs and strings — so it plays comfortably and speaks evenly across the strings. The result is a balanced tone with good response and projection.
A carefully selected solid spruce top, hand-graduated for clarity and responsiveness.
Back, ribs and neck in solid maple, where applicable, for warmth, strength and stability.
Built in the tradition of European violin making, assembled and finished by hand.
Bridge, soundpost and fittings adjusted by hand for comfortable, even playability.
Voiced for an even response, with projection suited to a range of playing settings.
Finished with a warm varnish that lets the natural character of the wood show through.
Suited to students, advancing players, teachers and professionals.
